Crafty Closet
This precious client needed a space to store all of her crafting materials, gift wrap, gift stock and space for guests to hang some clothing. She was inspired to make this space super functional and maintainable so we started by purging. In the process she scaled back gift packaging materials by 50% and decided to limit her future gift purchases. By making these changes she now has more usable space and found that she is using more of what she has because she can see all that she owns.
Walk-In Office Closet
This was a space that was underutilized thanks to builders grade components. One shelf and one rod per wall is pretty standard in homes and is an excellent waste of useable square footage. I tore out the existing closet and created a custom-designed Elfa solution that made use of the two main walls from floor to ceiling and allowed for two rolling carts that provide flexibility of use. This closet now easily stores the family’s files, games, crafts and office necessities in a highly organized and functional manner.

An over-the-door Elfa rack puts all gift wrapping where it can be seen and quickly grabbed from when running to an unexpected kiddo birthday party.

A craft cart on casters provides a home to all the kids’s papers, stickers and arts and crafts supplies. It can easily be rolled out to the kitchen table where they regularly create and can have all their supplies handy. Clear stacking boxes house crayons, markers and colored pencils for creativity on-the-go.

Games and puzzles now have a designated space where the children can easily see and access them.
Office Bookshelves
A wall of bookshelves were overstuffed and cluttered. By minimizing the number of books that were displayed space was made available for special trinkets, art work and photo storage. Now it is useful, decorative and brings joy to those perusing the shelves.
